Alive (Hove) welcomes families
January 9th 2020
Alive (Hove) opened its doors this week to welcome children aged 6 months to 5 years. The purpose-built early learning centre is architecturally designed, taking inspiration from the local coastal environment.
The Alive learning community is underpinned by educational excellence, quality staff and close relationships with families. Open 50 weeks of the year from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Alive also provides flexibility for working parents.
Those children who have commenced this week are already enjoying the spacious learning environment, designed to support the holistic development of each child. Alive is a supportive and caring environment that encourages children to be curious, take risks and try new things. Our learning spaces are developmentally appropriate and promote inside and outside play.
Children have responded really well to the nutritious meals carefully prepared by our cook, Roberto. We believe that quality learning is further enabled with nutritious meals every day.
As Alive is located within McAuley Community School, children and families will have the opportunity to engage with the school community when the school opens for Term 1, 2020.
We are looking forward to meeting all our new families in the coming weeks. If you are interested in a tour of Alive, please register here.
